Argentinian publishers have launched a children's book that can be recycled, by planting it so as it grows into a tree!
They have taken their children's book 'My Father was in the Jungle' and made it so that it contains the seeds of a Jacaranda tree, and that it provides the organic bedding material for the tree. The book is made of materials that are less likely to harm the environment and the young tree, for example acid-free paper and ecological ink.
The project is about educating young people about the careful use of resources and recycling.
