Dragons are becoming a bit of a feature here, you may have seen Hatland's dragon wishing the Red Dragon of Wales a great day on St. David's Day recently, well Hatland's dragon now wants to wish another dragon well. This time it is a little playful dragon called Torp, written and illustrated by Rachael Butler, and featured in Norfolk's Eastern Daily Press (EDP). As a ceramicist she initially created a new gargoyle for the extension of Thorpe St. Andrew's church. Seeing that the church already had two dragon gargoyles, she viewed these as mother and father dragons and so created a little baby dragon gargoyle. Now she has gone on to write a book about this little dragon called Torp, in much the same way that 'The Little Helmet' has now been published.
