Yes, that is the amazing story - Beatrix Potter is set to return with a new book, after the manuscript and first illustration was discovered after a century.
Beatrix Potter put the book about a cat with a seemingly double-life on hold, after writing the manuscript and painting that first illustration, and then the First World War and the changes in her life meant she never got to complete the illustrations and see the book through to publication.
However, based on the information now discovered, the story of Kitty-in-Boots is set to take to the shelves in September. The illustrations have been completed by none other than children's favourite, and former Children's Laureate, Quentin Blake. And the publisher, yes, Frederick Warne & Co.
Oh, and there's more, many of your favourites return in the new book, just as Beatrix Potter intended, including an older Peter Rabbit!
